Problem

People want to reconnect after the pandemic. They want to plan events with family and friends, but also want to divest from platforms like facebook.

Solution

An event planning app that allows users to create events, invite friends, and assign tasks to attendees

Impact

Users can stay connected to friends and family while staying off social media platforms

Research Plan

Goal: To streamline the process of arranging, sharing, and taking part in events


Demographic: People between the ages 25-38 who attend or plan events

 

Methodology: User interviews were conducted to collect qualitative data from participants

Survey was distributed through Instagram, facebook and linked in to gather more data

Moving forward, we would like to add additional features:
Donating money to events
More detailed search for local events

Reflection

Our main takeaway was the importance of communication between team members. By voicing concerns, individually taking initiative, and providing positive feedback, we successfully completed the project.
